It is within that context that I am pleased to announce the following Electrex promotions: 

Cody Herrin has consistently led his team towards excellence and done so while serving as an Electrex leadership role model.  His contributions to continuous process improvement and team development are numerous and valued.  Accordingly, Cody has accepted a promotion to Technical Services Manager and will have responsibility for the entire Electrex Technical Service operation. 

Cody Herrin spent over ten years assisting the US Department of Defense, US Army, and Special Operations with the development of advanced new warfighting platforms in partnership with DARPA, Soltam Systems, Elbeit Systems, and US Army Armaments Research Development and Engineering Center. His specialty was rapid prototype development and training end-users to operate systems, perform all levels of service and repair while creating the necessary field service manuals for adoption into the Department of Defense.  

​

Mark Deiter has significantly advanced the performance of one of the important Customer-facing operations within Electrex.  Through the diligent application of structured problem solving and process improvement, Mark has turned Technical Services into an Electrex center of excellence.  Mark also brings a background that includes a deep knowledge of Quality improvement and has accepted a promotion to Electrex Director of Quality.

Mark started with Electrex in January 2019 in the role of Technical Services Manager. Here he was successful in implementing many process improvements that included quote cycle time reductions, prototype on-time delivery performance, and driving manufacturing engineering initiatives to improve design for manufacturability (DFM), quality, and manufacturing efficiencies. 

Mark has a proven record of success with over 30 years of diverse experience including engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, continuous improvement, Lean/Six-Sigma, and program management.

Although Customer Service will continue to be the first point of contact for our Customers, Mark will lead Customer-specific initiatives.   

​
